Yes, she was texting while driving which is a really stupid thing to do (and imho should be illegal), but she was driving down a straight dirt road without any stop signals or road signs.
For all you non-drivers out there, this means she had the complete right of way. Mr. Ford F150 is to blame for plowing straight into her. Mayhaps he was texting as well.
